A storytelling game of Social Science Fiction in which the players create a future scenario and then introduce a "shock" to that world (such as a major discovery or invention).
Shock is a fiction game of culture and future shock. It uses a method of world creation in which social concerns and "Shocks" create a world custom-built for the type of story the players want to experience. The concerns of the players are cross-referenced with Shocks to create characters designed to confront those issues. Players are responsible for both Protagonists and Antagonists: they represent what you care about as a player and act in a way that highlights and questions the things you care about.
